Will Unemployment Reach 10%?
We have, of late, been pummeled with signs that the economy has turned a corner. Regardless, it might not feel that way. Just ask the millions of unemployed. And this Friday, we'll get a clearer sense of the jobless picture, when the Labor Department releases its nonfarm payroll data.
Experts are anticipating things to get worse before they get better on the job front, with the unemployment rate expected to climb higher to 9.9%, and the economy expected to shed another 166,000 jobs in October.
