Gold Rebounds on Dollar, CIT News
Shares of AngloGold Ashanti(AU) were rising 0.5% to $37.71. The company reported a 5% rise in third-quarter gold production. AngloGold is still trying to de-hedge and take advantage of record high spot prices. The company only has 4.3 million ounces of hedges remaining. Management expects the company to be largely de-hedged by 2014.
Yamana Gold (AUY) was rising 0.4% to $10.69. The company will report earnings after the closing bell Tuesday. Shares of Rangold Resources(GOLD) were popping 1.8% to $67.91.
