Northrop Grumman Gets $5.7M Navy Deal

WASHINGTON (AP) — Northrop Grumman Corp. received a $26.6 million contract from Navy to build and deliver four radar systems used on ships, the Pentagon said late Friday.
The radar systems provides the capability to detect and track low-flying, high-speed, small radar cross section anti-ship missile targets, according to the government notice. Work will be performed in Melville, N.Y., Norwalk, Conn., and Baltimore, Md., and is expected to be completed by April 2011.
