Caterpillar to Crush Competition, Poll Says
Bringing up the rear, in a distant sixth place, was TerexCompany (TEX), which makes construction and mining equipment. The placing -- with just 2% of the votes -- makes sense. Terex reported disappointing results and gave gloomy near-term financial guidance on Oct. 22., which stood in stark contrast to the Bucyrus and Caterpillar reports.
