Stanley Gets DOD Task Order Worth $23 Million

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Stanley Inc., which provides information-technology services, said Wednesday that it received a five-year, firm-fixed-price task order from the Defense Department under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity prime contract.

The task order is worth $23 million if all options are exercised, Stanley said.

Under the task order, Stanley will help support functions of the Defense Information Systems Agency including enterprise information technology policy and planning, product integration, security engineering certification and accreditation, operations support, hardware support, software support and managed services.

In midday trading, Stanley shares rose 22 cents to $27.72
