Windstream Extends Maturity Date For Loans

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Windstream Corp., a provider of phone, high-speed Internet and high-definition digital TV services, said Monday it has amended and restated senior secured credit agreements to extend their maturity dates.

The company said the maturity date of about $347.6 million of its revolving commitments will be extended from July 17, 2011, to July 17, 2013.

The maturity date of about $168.9 million of its Term Loan A loans will also be extended from July 17, 2011, to July 17, 2013.

In addition, the maturity date of about $1.078 billion of its Term B loans will be extended from July 17, 2013 to December 17, 2015.

The original maturity dates will continue to apply to about $152.4 million of revolving commitments, $114.4 million of Term Loan A loans and $290.5 million of Term Loan B loans.

The company's shares rose 7 cents to $10.24 in early afternoon trading.
