Athenahealth Completes Acquisition Of Anodyne

WATERTOWN, Mass. (AP) Athenahealth Inc., which provides Internet-based business services for physician practices, said it has completed its acquisition of software maker Anodyne Health Partners Inc.
The $22.3 million all-cash purchase of Anodyne was announced earlier this month and the deal closed Friday. Anodyne, based in Alpharetta, Ga., has an estimated 14,000 medical providers under contract for its Web-based software that allows a medical practice to view details of its financial operations.
