BMC Software To Acquire Tideway; Sum Undisclosed

HOUSTON (AP) — BMC Software Inc. said Monday that it had agreed to buy Tideway Systems Ltd., a privately held British company that makes "discovery" software that helps identify computing resources in data centers.
Terms were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close within a week. Tideway's owners include venture capital firms Scottish Equity Partners, Apax Partners and Accel Partners. Houston-based BMC makes business software.- Loading Comments...
