China Sunergy Names New Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK (AP) — Solar-cell maker China Sunergy Co. Ltd said Friday that it named Siegfried Yi Chou Hsu as its new chief financial officer, succeeding Shiliang Guo, who will remain as a director, according to a company statement.

The company said Mr. Hsu brings a diverse financial background, including previous posts as a chief financial officer at companies including a technology firm based in Taipei. Most recently, Hsu was vice president of Structured Finance and a chief adviser of the investment committee for China investment strategy at China Development Industry Bank in Taipei, it said.

The company said in a statement the Guo had been serving as an acting chief financial officer.
