Perrigo Files For Generic Version Of Rogaine
ALLEGAN, Mich. (AP) — Perrigo Co. said Tuesday it asked the Food and Drug Administration to approve an over-the-counter version of Men's Rogaine.
Rogaine, made by Johnson & Johnson, is a topical aerosol foam used to regrow hair. The company estimated annual retail sales of about $52 million annually. The patent holder, Stiefel Research Australia Pty. Ltd., is suing Perrigo for patent infringement. Shares of Perrigo rose 51 cents to $36.70 in morning trading.- Loading Comments...
