Infosys: Tomorrow's Headliners

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Infosys (INFY Quote) will be in focus as it is the lone company set to report earnings Friday as the week should end on a quiet note.

Infosys is expected to report a profit of 50 cents a share on revenue of $1.12 billion, according to analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. On Monday, analysts at Kaufman argued in a research note that Wall Street has already priced in both earnings and revenue upside surprises, as the stock has rallied nearly 40% since Infosys last reported quarterly results.

The economic calendar is also slim, with only the August read on the trade deficit scheduled for release. The Census Bureau will post the report at 8:30 a.m. EDT, and economists polled by Reuters expect the deficit will swell to $32.9 billion from $32 billion in July.
