WASHINGTON (TheStreet) -- CEOs at Amazon.com(AMZN Quote), FPL Group(FPL Quote), Eastman Kodak(EK Quote) and Kraft Foods(KFT Quote) are breaking bread with President Barack Obama this afternoon -- and presumably chewing over economic matters with the business leaders.
The White House said Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Florida Power and Light's Lew Hay, Eastman Kodak's Antonio Perez and Kraft's Irene Rosenfeld were slated to lunch with the President on Thursday. On the agenda: health insurance reform, climate change policy, the health of financial industry and job creation. The Obama administration has been attempting to reach out to the business community amid the recession.
