Nuance Buys ECopy For $54M In Stock
BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) — Speech and imaging software maker Nuance Communications Inc. said Monday that it bought eCopy for $54 million in common stock.
Nuance said the purchase will become part of its document imaging unit, and it expects the acquisition to add to its earnings starting in fiscal 2010. Multifunction printer companies like Xerox Corp. and Hewlett-Packard Co. use eCopy's network scanning offerings, which include a touch-screen application and the support of various enterprise applications.- Loading Comments...
