Coventry To Acquire Preferred Health Systems

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — Coventry Health Care Inc. said Monday it will acquire Wichita, Kan.-based Preferred Health Systems Inc. for undisclosed terms.

Coventry said the acquisition is expected to close in the next 90 to 120 days and will not affect earnings in the first year after closing.

Preferred Health is a subsidiary of Via Christi Health System Inc.
