ConAgra Foundation Gives $10M To Help Feed Hungry

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — ConAgra Foods' foundation plans to give $10 million to a campaign to help fight child hunger.

ConAgra will give the money to Feeding America to support its programs.

The money will help pay to establish a network of people who will advance child hunger programs in communities nationwide.

And it will help pay for summer meals for kids who don't qualify for free meals through school programs.

Foundation President Chris Kircher says ConAgra Foods Inc. is committed to helping end child hunger.

Feeding America was formerly known as America's Second Harvest, and it is a network of the nation's food banks.
