Apple (AAPL Quote) numbers boosted at Kaufman. Shares to $214. Estimates also increased, to reflect higher expected sales of the new iPod models. Buy rating.

Apple (AAPL Quote) upgraded at UBS. Rating raised to Buy from Neutral. Price target raised to $265 from $170. 2009 EPS estimates lowered to $5.92 from $5.93.

Avery Dennison (AVY Quote) downgraded at UBS. Rating lowered to Sell from Neutral. Price target raised to $30 from $26. Raises 2009 EPS estimates to $1.80 from $1.70.

BB&T (BBT Quote) upgraded to Outperform at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. $33 price target. Company has paid pack TARP and the CNB purchase should be accretive to earnings.

Citigroup(C Quote) rated new Outperform at KBW. $4.20 price target. Expect continued operating losses, though the company is trying to re-focus on its old core strengths.

Comcast (CMCSA Quote) upgraded at Wells from Market Perform to Outperform. Risk/reward is compelling and an NBC Universal deal would make strategic sense.

Costco (COST Quote) upgraded at Baird from Neutral to Outperform. $65 price target. Company is looking at a potential acceleration in earnings growth.

Amdocs (DOX Quote) downgraded at Merrill/BofA from Buy to Neutral. $28 price target. Valuation call, as the recent order slowdown has lingered.

Intel (INTC Quote) upgraded at Oppenheimer from Perform to Outperform. $28 price target. Estimates also raised, to reflect expectations for continued growth in the PC market in 2010.

Life Time Fitness (LTM Quote) downgraded at Oppenheimer from Outperform to Perform. $30 price target. There are concerns that new members have been harder to come by.
