Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Thursday evening:

Citigroup (C Quote): "CitiGroup's book value is $5.60. Now is a good time to buy, I'm not backing away."

AnnTaylor Stores (ANN Quote): "I salute them for coming back, but I'd rather buy Urban Outfitters (URBN Quote) or Wal-Mart (WMT Quote) right here. Retail is a little touch and go at the moment."

Garmin (GRMN Quote): "You caught a double in a bad stock. Take the money and run. Go buy a nice sweater."

Geron (GERN Quote): "No, no. I've got Celgene (CELG Quote) and Gilead Sciences (GILD Quote). Sell that company."

Energy Transfer Partners (ETP Quote): "8.6% yield. That's what we want in this market."

Solutia (SOA Quote): "I'd rather own Dow Chemical (DOW Quote) or PPG Industries (PPG Quote). "
