Windstream Plans $400M Senior Notes Offering
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Windstream Corp. said Tuesday that it plans a private offering of $400 million of senior notes due 2017.
The provider of phone, high-speed Internet and high-definition digital TV services plans to use the offering's net proceeds combined with available cash to fund the cash part of its D&E Communications Inc. and Lexcom Inc. acquisitions; to refinance some of D&E's debt; to pay related transaction fees and expenses and for general corporate purposes. The offering is targeted to close early next month. Windstream's stock added 3 cents to $9.76 in morning trading.- Loading Comments...
