CSC Gets TSA Contract Worth Up To $493 Million

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Transportation Security Administration awarded a contract to Computer Sciences Corp. worth up to $493 million to support its information technology infrastructure program.

CSC will provide TSA staff with computing and communications hardware, software and services. It also will protect the network from cyber threats.

The one-year deal can be extended with four one-year options.

Services will be provided to TSA facilities around the world, including airports and international support centers, the company said.

Shares of the Falls Church, Va.-based company added $2.47, or 4.9 percent, to $53.26 in afternoon trading.
