ConAgra Foods Raises Regular Dividend To 20 Cents

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — ConAgra Foods Inc. on Friday lifted its regular quarterly dividend by a penny to 20 cents.

The company, whose brands include Reddi-wip, Chef Boyardee and Healthy Choice, will pay the dividend on Dec. 1 to shareholders of record Oct. 30.

ConAgra, which will hold its annual shareholders meeting Friday afternoon, said Tuesday that its first-quarter profit fell but adjusted results beat analysts' expectations. The food maker also raised its full-year earnings forecast, anticipating strong results from its consumer foods segment.

In trading after the opening bell, shares fell 16 cents to $21.58.
