EV Energy Partners Begins Offering Of Units

HOUSTON (AP) Oil and gas company EV Energy Partners LP said Thursday it has begun a public offering of 2.8 million of its common units representing limited partner interests.
The partnership also will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 420,000 additional common units. The company will use the net proceeds for general partnership purposes, including potential future acquisitions. Pending use of the proceeds for acquisitions or other purposes, the partnership intends to use the proceeds to repay debt. Units of EV Energy dropped $1.91, or 7.9 percent, to $22.25 in after-hours trading. In the regular session Thursday, the stock declined 54 cents, or 2.2 percent, to close at $24.16.- Loading Comments...
