AAR To Install 757 Winglets For Continental

WOOD DALE, Ill. (AP) — Aviation product supplier AAR Corp. said Tuesday it will install winglets on 16 Boeing 757-300s for Continental Airlines.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The company said the work will be performed at AAR Aircraft Services - Indianapolis, its maintenance, repair and overhaul operation at Indianapolis International Airport. A winglet is a small vertical fin on the outer tip of a wing that improves aerodynamic efficiency. Shares of AAR rose 45 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $19.06 in afternoon trading.- Loading Comments...
