Marsh & McLennan Extends CEO Duperreault's Pact

NEW YORK (AP) — Insurance broker and consulting firm Marsh & McLennan Cos. said Monday that it will extend President and CEO Brian Duperreault's contract an additional three years to Jan. 29, 2014.
Chairman Stephen Hardis said in a statement that the company has been very pleased with Duperreault's performance and his ability to lead the business through the recession. Duperreault, who has served as president and CEO since Jan. 30, 2008, was set to have his contract expire on Jan. 29. 2011.
