Goodrich Petroleum Completes Wells In Haynesville

NEW YORK (AP) — Goodrich Petroleum Corp. on Friday said it has completed six wells in its Haynesville Shale properties in North Louisiana and East Texas.

Among its list of completions, Goodrich said it finished two Chesapeake Energy operated wells in the Bethany-Longstreet field in Louisiana and two wells in its Beckville/Minden fields in Texas.

Goodrich said it currently has five rigs running. Goodrich said that once the Beckville well is completed, its rig will move to Greenwood-Waskom, and the company expects to drill in North Louisiana for the rest of the year.

Shares of Goodrich fell $1.08, or 3.9 percent, to $26.48 in morning trading.
