Trico Marine Receives $50 Million In New Contracts

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) — Trico Marine Services Inc., which provides marine vessels for offshore oil and gas operations, said Thursday it received $50 million in new contracts, including $35 million for projects in Norway, Mexico and the U.S.

In its towing and supply unit, the contracts include term work in Brazil for an anchor handler. The company also received contracts in its subsea services and subsea protection division that include a decommissioning project in the North Sea and cable laying and trenching for a customer in the U.S.

Separately, the company said it expects third-quarter revenue to exceed $170 million. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation or amortization should be between $24 million and $29 million, the company said.

Shares of Trico Marine climbed 25 cents, or 3.7 percent, to $7.02.
