Today's Lists at Stockpickr: Sept. 9

Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, Sept. 9:

52-Week Highs: Apple(AAPL Quote) hit a new high Wednesday of $174.47 in anticipation of its product event, but it later dipped and closed down 1% at $171.14. Wednesday's announcement saw the introduction of new iTunes software and a video iPod Nano as well as the return of CEO Steve Jobs to the stage.

Biggest % Gainers: Vivus(VVUS Quote) soared by more than 70% to $11.80 on study results for obesity drug Qnexa.

Another big gainer today was Fortress Investment Group(FIG Quote), which rose 19% to $5.32 after receiving an upgrade to overweight from Barclays. Barclays also increased its price target on the stock, from $3 to $9.

Unusual Options Activity: Stocks experiencing unusually high options activity included Allergan(AGN Quote) and Dendreon(DNDN Quote).

Analyst Upgrades: Citigroup upgraded Capital One(COF Quote) to buy from hold with a $44 price target. Bernstein Research upped its rating on eBay(EBAY Quote) to outperform with a $28 price target, citing a turn in its marketplaces business and improving sales of used cars.
