MF Global Ltd. Appoints North American COO

NEW YORK (AP) — Futures and options broker MF Global Ltd. said Tuesday it has appointed Robert Lyons as North American chief operating officer.
With 30 years' experience in the financial services industry, Lyons oversees MF Global's daily operations in the region. The appointment took effect immediately. Lyons previously was COO at Watermill Trading LLC and spent 21 years with Bear, Stearns & Co., including COO and finance chief for its global equities division. Shares of MF Global rose 15 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $7.19 a share in afternoon trading.- Loading Comments...
