Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, Aug. 28:

52-Week Highs: Stocks hitting new highs on Friday included Marvell Technology(MRVL Quote), which beat analyst expectations for second-quarter earnings. It rose as high as $15.85 before closing up 5% for the day at $15.36.

EMC(EMC Quote) hit a new high of $16.48 before closing up 9 cents for the day at $16.13. Last night on his "Lightning Round" segment, Cramer called EMC "one red hot tech stock to own."

Rising on Unusual Volume: AIG(AIG Quote) continued continued to rise on Friday, gaining 5% on a 318% increase in volume. For more, visit the Rising on Unusual Volume list.

Analyst Upgrades: J.Crew(JCG Quote), which posted a quarterly earnings beat on Thursday, received an upgrade to hold from Needham and to buy from Citigroup. Barclays raised its price target on the stock to $35, and Friedman Billings Ramsey raised its to $39.
