Alliant Techsystems Gets $6.3M Navy Deal

WASHINGTON (AP) — Military contractor Alliant Techsystems Inc. received a $6.3 million contract boost from the Navy to buy 555 spare rocket motors for missiles equipped on the F/A-18E/F aircraft, the Pentagon said late Thursday.
Work will be performed in Rocket Center, W.Va., Chatsworth, Calif., and other locations, and is expected to be completed by December 2011. Shares of the Minneapolis, Minn.-based company added 82 cents to close at $79.12.- Loading Comments...
