Ceradyne Gets $16.4M Order For Ceramic Plates

COASTA MESA, Calif. (AP) — Ceradyne Inc., which makes ceramic products for the defense, industrial and other industries, said Thursday it received a $16.4 million order for protective ceramic plates from the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia.
The plates, used as protective armour, are called enhanced small arms protective inserts. They're part of a three-year contract issued in Dec. 2007, but is just being booked now, Ceradyne said.- Loading Comments...
