Utility NV Energy Announces Promotion, New Hiring

RENO, Nev. (AP) — NV Energy Inc., the parent firm of Nevada's two main electric utilities, is announcing two new executives at its corporate headquarters.

Robert Stewart has been promoted to senior vice president of customer relations. Stewart joined the Las Vegas-based utility in February 2008 as vice president of marketing. His role has been expanded to include customer service.

Stewart has spent more than two decades in the utility industry, with experience in marketing, management and planning.

NV Energy on Tuesday also announced the hiring of Rob Stillwell as head of corporate communications. A former vice president of communications for Boyd Gaming Corp., Stillwell replaces Jack Leone who recently retired, the company said in a written statement.
