Herbalife Closes Deal On New Manufacturing Plant

LOS ANGELES (AP) Herbalife Ltd., a nutritional and weight-loss supplement maker, said Monday it completed the acquisition of a manufacturing plant owned by Micelle Laboratories.
The company said it plans to invest up to $10 million in the facility to increase production capacity. The price of the acquisition was not disclosed. Micelle Laboratories, based in Orange County, Calif., makes food and nutritional supplements in powder, liquid, tablet and capsule delivery forms. Shares of Herbalife Ltd. rose 5 cents Monday to close at $33.04.- Loading Comments...
