Jacobs Engineering Spent $200K Lobbying In 2Q

WASHINGTON (AP) — Engineering and construction firm Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. spent $200,000 lobbying Congress on aerospace spending, airlines and other issues in the second quarter, according to a recent disclosure report.

The Pasadena, Calif., company also lobbied lawmakers about homeland security issues, matters related to expanding the federal government's employee visa program, and highway and railroad spending.

Additionally, Jacobs Engineering Group lobbied on budget and nuclear energy issues in the April-June period, according to the form filed July 20 with the House clerk's office.
