Analyst Upgrades Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

CHICAGO (AP) — An analyst upgraded his rating on Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. on Wednesday, saying the restaurant chain's stock was fairly valued after a recent decline.

Raymond James analyst Bryan C. Elliott boosted his rating on the Lebanon, Tenn.-based eatery to "Market Perform," from "Underperform."

He cited a roughly 15 percent decline in the company's share price since late July, which closed as high as $31.05 on July 23.

The stock has traded in 52-week range of $10.67 to $35.18.

Cracker Barrel shares regained some ground Wednesday, adding 52 cents to $27.56.
