Meritage Homes Names Dana Bradford As A Director

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Homebuilder Meritage Homes Corp. said Friday it added Dana C. Bradford to its board, bringing the total number of directors to 7.

Bradford, 44 years old, is president and managing partner of McCarthy Capital Corp., a private equity firm based in Omaha, Neb. He is also a director at several private companies, including Guild Mortgage, Southwest Value Partners, Waitt Corp Investments, Vornado Air, NRG Media, and Gold Circle Films.

Bradford will serve on the board's audit, executive compensation, and nominating and corporate governance committees.

Meritage shares fell 91 cents, or 4 percent, to $21.31 in afternoon trading.
