'Mad Money Lightning Round': Grab Some Simpletech

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Thursday evening.

Simpletech (STEC Quote): "The gadget market is on fire and their chips are in everything. I'm not backing away, I like them, along with Micron Technology (MU Quote) and Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM Quote)."

Atmos Energy (ATO Quote): "There aren't a lot of utilities at their 52-week high, so that's a sign of strength, but I like Dominion Resources (D Quote) better for its yield."

Mattel (MAT Quote): "I prefer Hasbro (HAS Quote) over Mattel. I think it's better run than Mattel."

China Green Agriculture (CGA Quote): "Oh man, why go to China when you can buy Potash (POT Quote) right here in the U.S."

United Parcel Service (UPS Quote): "UPS is a fabulous company, but they're very non-promotional. They haven't declared a bottom in their conference calls. I'd be a buyer right here."

American International Group (AIG Quote): "The new CEO is terrific, but there's a big short squeeze going on. I don't think there's a lot of stock left for the common shareholders."

Alcoa (AA Quote): "Alcoa, along with Dow Chemical (DOW Quote) and International Paper (IP Quote), can all go higher because there's a lot of aluminum in cars and planes. I'm O.K. with all three."
