Today's Lists at Stockpickr

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- After the market close, Stockpickr updates a series of portfolios called Today's Lists with information from that trading day. It's a useful tool for getting a quick picture of how the market moved that day.

Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, Aug. 5:

52-Week Highs: Del Monte(DLM Quote) set a new high of $10.78 on Wednesday before closing up 6% for the day at $10.15. Whole Foods(WFMI Quote) rose to $30.13 earlier in the day, a new 52-week high, and closed up 15.6% at $28.70. Hertz(HTZ Quote) also hit a new high, of $10.73, before closing down 3 cents at $10.43.

Biggest % Gainers: AIG(AIG Quote) surged by $8.48, or 62.7%, to close at $22 on Wednesday in anticipation of its quarterly earnings release on Friday. CIT(CIT Quote) was also up big, gaining 37.6% to 1.39, and Radian(RDN Quote) added a whopping 83.1% to $6.72 after announcing an unexpected profit in its second quarter.

Biggest % Losers: The day's losers included Onyx Pharmaceuticals(ONXX Quote), down 14.7%, and American Oriental Bioengineering(AOB Quote), down 16.7%.

Rising on Unusual Volume: Pegasystems(PEGA Quote) rose 8.8% on Wednesday on a 393% increase in volume.

Analyst Downgrades: Barclays downgraded Duke Energy(DUK Quote) to equal-weight from overweight with a $16 price target. Oppenheimer downgraded Simon Property Group(SPG Quote) to perform from outperform. And Goldman cut Solera(SLH Quote) to neutral from buy with a $28 price target.
