Today's Lists at Stockpickr

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- After the market close, Stockpickr updates a series of portfolios called Today's Lists with information from that trading day. It's a useful tool for getting a quick picture of how the market moved that day.

Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, July 31:

52-Week Highs: Ford(F Quote) closed at a new 52-week high today, up 8.3% to $8. Starbucks(SBUX Quote) also made a new high today, of $17.90, before closing up 7 cents for the day at $17.70.

52-Week Lows: Lexmark(LXK Quote) hit a new low today, sinking to $14.23 before closing down 7 cents for the day at $14.48.

Biggest % Losers: The day's biggest percentage losers included Las Vegas Sands(LVS Quote), down 16.1%, and Synaptics(SYNA Quote), down 33.1%.

Rising on Unusual Volume: McAfee(MFE Quote) rose 4.8% today on a 152% increase in volume. Abaxis(ABAX Quote) rose 22.6% on a 711% increase in volume.

Analyst Upgrades: Citigroup upgraded Dow Chemical(DOW Quote) to buy from hold with a $27 price target, and Morgan Keegan upgraded Motorola(MOT Quote) to outperform.

Analyst Downgrades: JPMorgan downgraded Disney(DIS Quote) to underweight from neutral and lowered its price target on the stock to $22 from $23.
