Today's Lists on Stockpickr

After the market close, Stockpickr updates a series of portfolios called Today's Lists with information from that trading day. It's a useful tool for getting a quick picture of how the market moved that day.

Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, July 1:

Biggest % Gainers: Up big today was vehicle manufacturer Oshkosh(OSK Quote), which rose 26.8% to close at $18.43 on news that it acquired a $1 billion contract with the U.S. military. LogMeIn(LOGM Quote) also soared, rising 25.1% to $20.02 in its first day of public trading.

Biggest % Losers: Force Protection(FRPT Quote) lost 39.1% to $5.38 today, Myriad Genetics(MYGN Quote) tumbled 27% to $26.02 on a cut to forecasted revenue, and CardioNet(BEAT Quote) plummeted 41.4% to close at $9.57.

52-Week Highs: Palm(PALM Quote) hit a 52-week high of $16.80 today before closing down 1.5% for the day at $16.34. Schering-Plough(SGP Quote) rose to $25.29 earlier and closed up 0.4% for the day at $25.22.

Rising on Unusual Volume: Changyou.com(CYOU Quote) closed up 6.6% at $2.54 on a 35% increased in volume.

Analyst Upgrades: Among analysts' upgrades for the day was Goldman's boost of Yum! Brands(YUM Quote) to buy from neutral. The firm also raised its price target on the stock to $40 from $36, citing improving business in the U.S., among other factors.

Analyst Downgrades: JPMorgan downgraded Check Point Software(CHKP Quote) to neutral from overweight, maintaining its $25.50 price target on the stock but lowering earnings estimates for 2009.
