When it comes to investing what's going to happen is more important than what was in the headlines yesterday.

Considering this, Jim Cramer revealed during his "Mad Money" segment on Friday the stocks he expects will do well in the second-half of the year. They include: Wells Fargo (WFC Quote), Apple(AAPL Quote), NVR(NVR Quote) and Paccar(PCAR Quote).

Cramer says just because the news is bad today doesn't mean it will be bad six months from now; in fact, bleak headlines can sometimes be a signal of good things to come.

The turn in the housing market, which Cramer is adamant is on the horizon, will be a plus for banks like Wells Fargo who can finally sell the foreclosed real estate it never wanted to own in the first place.

And while Cramer has been skittish about recommending a home builder, he says NVR is a good play on the Obama administration "hiring like mad."

NVR is a profitable home builder in the Washington, D.C. area that will win on house-price appreciation.

If you look just at NVR's first quarter numbers, however, you might not be so eager to own the company.

The company posted a 60% plunge in profit to $18 million, or $3.02 a share, compared with $43.5 million, or $7.42, in the year-ago period.

Total revenue, including both the company's homebuilding and mortgage-lending operations, fell to $558.6 million, down 37 percent from $887.9 million a year ago.

New orders fell 11% to 2,426 homes and sales prices were down 12% from a year ago.
