China Telecom May Bring Blackberry to China

China Telecom (CHA Quote) is in talks with Research In Motion (RIMM Quote) to bring Blackberry devices to China, Caijing magazine reports.

The magazine's source was an unnamed senior China Telecom executive.

The two companies have been working together to test the Blackberry handsets, but no timetable for a launch has been provided, the magazine reports.

A Research In Motion spokeswoman told Dow Jones Newswires the company doesn't comment on market rumors. A spokesman at China Telecom couldn't be immediately reached for comment.
