Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Friday evening:

MetLife (MET Quote): "This is a good situation, they didn't need any TARP money. Two thumbs up."

Norfolk Southern (NSC Quote): "I struggle over this one. They have a lot of exposure to coal. I like Union Pacific (UNP Quote) more -- they're a better grower."

Eaton (ETN Quote): "It's got a great yield. I do not think it's going to be a good quarter, but I'd hold onto it."

Trinity Industries (TRN Quote): "This is more a railcar play than a play on wind energy. I think there are others that are better, like First Solar (FSLR Quote)."

FirstMerit (FMER Quote): "People need to understand that there are going to be hundreds of banks that will fail and First Merit will be the winner."

United Technologies (UTX Quote): "This one is acting really, really well. I think that this company is doing well. This one, along with Honeywell (HON Quote) are great stocks."

Walgreens (WAG Quote): "I like it. I like it a lot. I think Walgreen's is a win, but I like CVS Caremark (CVS Quote) more."
