Jacobs Engineering Receives 3 New Contracts

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it won two new contracts from the U.S. government worth up to $182.6 million. It received a third contract from a private company for an undisclosed sum.
The engineering and construction company said it received a contract to provide engineering support services for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division. The contract is worth $170.6 million over a five-year period, the company said. Jacobs also received a one-year contract with four one-year option periods from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers worth up to $12 million. Under that contract, Jacobs will provide civil construction services, including flood damage reduction, inland marine transportation and other projects. The company also received a contract from the natural-gas storage company Storengy to upgrade its underground gas storage facility in Etrez, France. It did not disclose the terms for this contract.
