Jacobs Engineering Receives 3 New Contracts

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it won two new contracts from the U.S. government worth up to $182.6 million. It received a third contract from a private company for an undisclosed sum.

The engineering and construction company said it received a contract to provide engineering support services for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division. The contract is worth $170.6 million over a five-year period, the company said.

Jacobs also received a one-year contract with four one-year option periods from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers worth up to $12 million. Under that contract, Jacobs will provide civil construction services, including flood damage reduction, inland marine transportation and other projects.

The company also received a contract from the natural-gas storage company Storengy to upgrade its underground gas storage facility in Etrez, France. It did not disclose the terms for this contract.

Shares of Jacobs Engineering Group closed Monday at $42.85.
