Johnson Controls (JCI Quote): "If I had to own something remotely related to autos, which I'd rather not, I'd probably own this one. It's the best house in a bad neighborhood."

Commscope (CTV Quote): "If I'm going to buy into this business, I'm going to send you to CIENA Corp (CIEN Quote) or Cisco Systems (CSCO Quote)."

THQ Inc (THQI Quote): "That's one of the better acting ones in the group, but I'm not going anywhere near the gaming business right now."

Merck (MRK Quote): "There's really nothing there. I'm going to send you to Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY Quote) as the best one to own."

Exxon Mobil (XOM Quote): "That's the safest of the oils, but it's not my favorite. I like any of them that have a 4% yield or better."
