Trimble Acquires NTech, Extends Farm-product Line

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) — GPS-technology company Trimble Navigation Ltd. acquired privately held NTech Industries, which makes sensor-controlled fertilizer and herbicide-dispensing systems for farmers, Trimble said Friday.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Ukiah, Calif.-based NTech's systems use the Global Positioning System, or GPS, to help farmers manage their fields. Sunnyvale-based Trimble said the acquisition would extend its own portfolio of products for farmers.- Loading Comments...
