Goldcorp Plans $750M Senior Note Offering

NEW YORK (AP) Goldcorp Inc. on Monday said it plans to privately offer $750 million in senior notes due 2014, in an effort to pay off debt and fund general corporate spending, including capital projects.
The Canada-based gold producer said it expects to grant the initial purchasers in the offering a 30-day option to buy up to an additional $112.5 million of notes to cover overallotments, if any. Shares of Goldcorp fell 29 cents to $39.44 in morning trading.- Loading Comments...
