Rock-Tenn Gets 93 Percent Response To Tender Offer

NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) — Rock-Tenn Co. said Friday that holders tendered 93 percent of the $100 million in senior notes covered by a recent tender offer.
Notes that weren't tendered will remain outstanding, covered by the same terms and conditions, the company said. The notes carry an 8.2 percent interest rate and are due in 2011. The tender offer expired at midnight Thursday. Rock-Tenn makes consumer packaging and merchandising displays. It has annual sales of about $2.8 billion.
