Best Buy To Carry The Palm Pre
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Best Buy Co. and RadioShack Corp. say they will carry Palm Inc.'s new Pre smart phone, offering customers instant rebates.
Palm, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., announced this week that the highly anticipated phone will go on sale June 6. The Pre, with a touch screen and slide-out keyboard, will sell for $200 after a $100 mail-in rebate, but the retailers say they will cut out the latter hassle for customers. Richfield, Minn.-based Best Buy will carry the phone in its mobile stores, which number more than 1,000 in the U.S. Some Wal-Mart Stores Inc. locations will also carry the phone, according to Palm's Web site.- Loading Comments...
