'Mad Money' Spotlight: Cramer's Energy Picks

It's been a mixed bag for Friday's "Mad Money" Lightning Round energy calls.

Since Friday's close, two of Jim Cramer's bullish plays are down today. In late afternoon trading, Consolidated Edison(ED Quote) was scraping along, down 8 cents at $34.78, and Dominion Resources(D Quote) was down 14 cents at $30.39.

Con Edison provides electric and gas services to 4.4 million customers in lower New York. Dominion operates approximately 27,000 megawatts of generating power for 2.4 million retail customers. Cramer insisted that both Con Edison and Dominion were good plays because of their limited exposure to cap and trade, though Dominion has a lower yield.

The one bearish energy call from the Friday show was Pepco(POM Quote), whose high dividend yield scared off Cramer. Pepco was up in positive territory this afternoon, trading at $12.05. That's up 16 cents from the close and 6 cents from the opening bell. Pepco announced first quarter earnings on May 7 showing an EPS of 21 cents, which was down from 49 cents a year ago.

But for those foraging for high yields in the utilities space, Cramer offered two others more to his liking -- Kinder Morgan(KMP Quote) and Enterprise Products Partners(EPD Quote) -- that were exchanging hands in positive territory today. Kinder Morgan was up 1.08 to $47.31 and Enterprise was up 60 cents to $24.74 during late afternoon trading.

Last Wednesday, TSC Ratings listed Enterprise as one of their Top 5 Large-Cap Stocks. That followed a first-quarter earnings announcement in April. The gas and oil servicer reported an EPS of 41 cents, which was five cents better than analysts' predictions. Revenue for the quarter, however, slipped to $3.42 billion from $5.68 billion in the same quarter last year.

Enterprise blamed lower commodity prices for the disparity.
