DANVERS, Mass. (AP) — Heart treatment products maker Abiomed Inc. said Monday it expects up to a 25 percent boost in revenue in fiscal 2010, though the outlook falls short of Wall Street expectations.

The company's fiscal year ends March 31.

Abiomed said it expects revenue between $86 million and $91 million, marking a 17 percent to 25 percent boost over fiscal 2009 revenue of $73.2 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect revenue of $93.8 million, on average.

Last week, Abiomed reported fourth-quarter financial results that fell shy of Wall Street forecasts, though its loss narrowed on lower overall expenses.
